Students from Year 6 across Sunraysia met at Henderson College to participate in the annual Inter – school STEM day. On this challenge day, students learnt a little about heart and kidney transplant operations and the challenges doctors face in performing the procedure. Students were placed into groups of three and required to simulate a heart and kidney transplant. The task required them to build and operate a device from a distance of 50cm, using a video screen to guide them, just like a real surgeon!
