Agape Feast in Chapel

This week for both Primary and Secondary Chapel services, students took part in an ‘Agape’ Feast.

The word ‘agape’ is a Greek word which is used to describe a love that is selfless, sacrificial and unconditional. Agape love is the love that God has for us.

Food served at this feast were types of food which can be found in the Bible, such as hummus, fruit (oranges) and bread. As the children entered Chapel they were asked to sit on the floor around the food laid out in the shape of a cross.

As soft music played the students shared with each other how they were going, and times in their lives when they have experienced ‘uncondtitional’ love.  It was a very moving time for many.
