A Message from the Primary Co-ordinator
A Message from Brenda Hancock

Henderson College Primary offers a wide range of subjects enabling students to explore their individual creative passions and reach their God-given potential.

Henderson College aims to make children feel welcome from the very start of their school life. We provide each student with a caring and stimulating environment, tailored to meet their individual needs. The College provides a high academic standard combined with pastoral care. Strong emphasis is placed on Numeracy and Literacy – the skills essential for success in all areas of learning.

All students in the Primary School have specialist lessons in Art, Library, LOTE (French) and Physical Education (including swimming). We believe that each student has their own unique God-given gifts and talents. Every student is encouraged to participate in a wide sphere of activities – Assemblies, Chess, Concerts, Presentation Night, Chapel services, House Sports, and competitions.

Communication between home and school is maintained through the school portal, SEQTA, Information sessions, Newsletters, Curriculum Guides, the Student Handbook, class letters, email, telephone and individual notes to parents. The College ensures that parents are kept up to date with special events and curriculum matters.

If you are considering the advantages of a small Christian College, I invite you to look through our prospectus and contact the College to arrange an interview and tour of our facilities. My staff and I would be happy to discuss with you any of your child’s educational needs.

It is our hope that as we work together to inspire the children in our care, the College will continue to be a place where children love to learn, feel safe and are nurtured each and every day.

We look forward to hearing from you and hope that we can assist you in making this important decision for your child’s future.

Yours sincerely,

Mrs Brenda Hancock,
Henderson College Primary Co-ordinator
