The community are once again invited to take a step back in time this Christmas and experience the true meaning of Christmas to life for all ages.  The format for this free event has changed to comply with current social distancing restrictions.  Visitors will now DRIVE through, watch and listen to the theatrical presentation whilst sitting in the comfort of their vehicles.

The Road to Bethlehem outdoor theatre promenade adventure is a Christmas tradition in many towns and cities Australia wide, and is fast becoming a Christmas staple for the wider Sunraysia community.  Experience the miracle of Mary and Joseph forthcoming parenthood, watch the fear and rage of King Herod, journey with the wise men, shepherds and Angels as the story of the birth of Jesus is unveiled.

Held at Henderson College, 804-816 Cowra Avenue Irymple, Road to Bethlehem is held over three nights, Thursday 17th, Friday 18th and Saturday 19th December starting at 8:00pm to 10:00pm.  An easy drive for all ages with several stops along the way – this event is contact free.

Road to Bethlehem is a FREE community event.

❓Do I need to book tickets?

No, this year the Road to Bethlehem is ticket-free – simply follow the signs at Henderson College when you arrive between 8pm-10pm to take part in this experience from your car!

 

❓Do I need to pay?

No, this is a free community event. However, like previous years there will be an opportunity for you to donate to support future Road to Bethlehem events.

 

❓Will there be food and drinks available like in previous years?

No. This year there will be no catering, as you will be remaining in your car for the entire experience.

 

❓Will we be able to see and hear this years presentation properly from our car?

Yes! Upon arriving to the entrance to Road to Bethlehem, you will be provided with an audio device to borrow as you navigate the journey. As you exit, you will return the device to staff, to ensure other participants can use it.
