Newly built in 2020, this hub provides 4 general classrooms incorporating new digital technology, enhanced acoustics and flexible learning spaces within the hub to enhance learning enrichment. Each block of 2 classrooms has kitchenette facilities for refrigeration and heating of student lunches.

The purpose-designed science lab enables students to learn and experience science hands-on. Science at Henderson College is a dynamic and popular study, taught by expert specialist teachers. Specialised curriculum areas include biology, chemistry, environmental science and anatomy.

Redeveloped in 2016, to provide a dynamic, blended learning space that supports students in developing deeper understandings. The space is flexible in design, incorporating a variety of lounges, seating booths and calm spaces with an attractive colour palette.

Newly constructed in 2021, the Art and Design Department boasts three purpose studios fitted with industry-standard technology and software to cater to various programs. The dynamic team of specialist teachers focus on encouraging students to develop and experiment with the creative process, which enhances learning and increases confidence. The range of subject choices includes wood/metal work, visual arts and robotics, ceramics, media and STEM.

The Kitchen Garden Program allows students to explore and manage key elements in growing vegetables and appreciate the importance of food and nutrition for physical, social, emotional and intellectual development. Our vegetable garden boasts a broad range of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Students learn to grow, harvest, then prepare, cook and share fresh, seasonal, delicious food in our new kitchen – forming positive food habits for life.

Music builds imagination, creativity and coordination. We have one spacious room for our Primary students to experience movement and rhythm whilst learning beat and tempo using basic musical instruments. Our dedicated instrumental music room encourages our High School students to learn several musical instruments with the opportunity to participate in the school’s band and choir.
