Feathers, fur and…scales

We were honoured to host Sarah from EnviroEdu yesterday as she shared some native wildlife with the Primary students. Students learnt so much about Sarah’s wildlife friends, and were able to get up close to get a really good look!
Some of the safety messages were:

• Never approach a snake in the wild
• Never touch a snake in the wild
• If you see a snake near your feet stand very still.....so the snake knows you are safe and goes away
• If a snake is on your property call a snake catcher
