Alphabet Ark is a fun-filled and interactive sensory experience designed especially for kinder-aged children.
This engaging 2½-hour program offers a wonderful mix of hands-on activities, including farm animal encounters, sporting activities, puppet play, creative craft experiences and a healthy snack. The morning is designed to spark curiosity, encourage exploration and create joyful learning moments in a safe and welcoming environment.

Here are some frequently asked questions to help you plan your visit to Alphabet Ark.
Who is this program suitable for?
Alphabet Ark is designed for children of kinder age (3–5 years), particularly those attending 3- or 4-year-old kindergarten.
Do parents stay, or is it a drop-off program?
Parents and caregivers are warmly invited to stay and enjoy the morning alongside their child. This is not a drop-off program.
Can siblings attend?
Yes, siblings are welcome to attend. Please note that activities are primarily designed for kinder-aged children, and younger siblings will remain under parent supervision.
Can a day-care or kindergarten attend as a group?
Yes, daycare centres and kindergarten groups are welcome to attend. As places are limited, we encourage group bookings to be made early to avoid missing out. Please contact us in advance to discuss group numbers and supervision requirements so we can ensure the best experience for everyone.
Who will be supervising the children?
Qualified educators and Henderson College staff will facilitate all activities. While staff lead the program, parents remain responsible for supervising their own children and siblings
What should my child bring?
Please bring:
- A hat
- A water bottle
- Enclosed shoes suitable for outdoor activities
We recommend comfortable clothing suitable for craft and farm activities.
Is food provided?
Yes, a healthy snack will be provided.
What happens in wet weather?
The program will go ahead in most weather conditions. Indoor activities will be available if needed.
Do I need to book?
Yes, bookings are essential as places are limited. Early registration is recommended to secure your child’s place. Book Here
Where do I park?
On-site parking is available at Henderson College. Signage and staff will assist you on arrival.
What time does the program finish?
The program runs for 2½ hours. Please arrive at 9:10am for a 9:30am start, with collection at approximately 12:00pm.
